Resources for Healthy Schools (Action for Healthy Kids)
This collection of resources and tools helps schools encourage healthy eating. It includes a database searchable by topic, audience, material type, target age, partner, and/or state. It provides information on vending and snacks, a la carte foods, wellness policies, coordinated school health policies, and marketing.
Healthy Schools Program (Alliance for a Healthier Generation)
This program provides web-based support and tools for implementing programs and policies that promote physical activity and healthy eating. The website provides a collection of tools, an extensive resource database, training resources and programs, and essential information for schools. Particularly useful tools for this strategy include the School Beverage Guide Toolkit, Competitive Foods Guidelines, Healthy Schools Product Navigator, and Healthy Schools Product Calculator.
