Somnapure Sleep Aid Review

Does Somnapure really work?

Somnapure is a mediocre sleep aid, but should have some benefit.

Somnapure is a natural sleep aid that is made with non-habit-forming ingredients by manufacturer Force Factor. It is not a bad sleep aid, but several of the ingredients are under-dosed. the melatonin dose is particularly low, with only 3mg per serving.

Melatonin is one of the most effective ingredients for improving sleep quality and decreasing the time it takes to fall asleep. We prefer to recommend products with at least 5mg or more—the optimum dose being around 10mg. In addition, Somnapure includes hops, which is only anecdotally associated with sleep improvements and lacks serious evidence to support the claim.

To its credit, Somnapure contains a decent amount of valerian root extract and a decent dose of L-theanine, two verified ingredients to aid sleep quality. However, alongside under-dosing melatonin (and chamomile extract), it fails to include the most up-to-date sleep aids, such as GABA, 5HTP, and ashwagandha.

If you are only experiencing mild sleeping problems then Somnapure might be useful, but anyone suffering from prolonged or intensive sleeping issues will need a supplement that is more strongly dosed and which utilises more powerful ingredients.

Somnapure Sleep Aid Customer Reviews

According to verified customer reviews of Somnapure the product has quite mixed results. Some customers found it gave them the extra push they needed to fall into a restful sleep, while others found it didn’t do anything. We’re not surprised, as Somnapure is a bit of a mixed bag and will probably aid some people but not others depending on the severity of the sleeping problem.

Overall, Somnapure received a 4.2/5 rating on Amazon, with 62% 5-star reviews. This is ok, but not the best result we’ve seen for sleep aid.

Some customers complained that the pills are too big and tasted and smelled terrible. As far as we saw, there were no complaints directed at the manufacturer, such as incorrect deliveries or bad communication.

Somnapure Sleep Aid Review: Conclusion

Somnapure is not the worst sleep aid but it is far from the best. There are a few nice ingredients included at decent dosages, particularly the valerian root extract and L-theanine.

However, Somnapure fails to include more up-to-date ingredients that are backed by solid evidence, choosing instead to include poorly supported ingredients, such as passion flower extract and lemon balm leaf extract, and even ingredients only supported by anecdotal evidence (hops). In addition, it includes a very low dose of melatonin.

If you have mild sleeping problems it might help, but you would be better off with something else, and if you have serious sleeping problems don’t even bother trying it, it won’t help you.
