Do olly stress gummies work?
In that placebos are most effective at treating stress and sleep related issues rather than has pain management, then sure olly goodbye stress gummies can work. [2] Will the supplements themselves do much? Not really, the anti stress gummies do contain the right ingredients and there are some GABA studies that suggest mental tension can be reduced at a lower dosage, although the 50mg in Olly is far from ideal, and it's not going to be the be all and end all in helping you stay calm.
Do olly goodbye stress gummies make you sleepy?
Olly goodbye stress gummies shouldn't make you notably sleepy, whilst GABA can cause mild drowsiness, this shouldn't be the case with a dosage as low as is in olly goodbye stress gummies.
How many olly goodbye stress gummies can I take?
Whilst this should not be taken as medical advice, you can probably take 5X the recommended dosage on the bottle, as 250mg of L Theanine, 250mg of GABA and a large amount of lemon balm are all deemed safe ranges. But, in this case, the budget gummies, don't look so cost effective any more.
GABA - GABA is first off best when combined with L Arginine as this helps it pass through the blood brain barrier. It does have a whole host of benefits for joints and muscle building beyond it's stress relief effects. There is mixed evidence as to whether it's immediately effective or not, but the dosage is generally perceived to be ideal at around 500mg, Olly goodbye stress gummies however dose GABA at 50mg. Not a great start.
Lemon Balm - 300mg seems to be the lowest effective dose and these are particularly strong extracts at trial. Standard lemon balm extract seems to be best dosed at above a gram. This means that the 75mg in Olly are not nearly up to scratch.
L Theanine - Also shown to be effective for treating stress L Theanine is once again underdosed, 200mg is the ideal range, not the 50mg in a serving of Olly gummies. With dosage of up to 900mg being demonstrated to be safe and still relatively effective [3].
As we've said already, there just isn't enough in these gummies to make them a good option. There are also a huge amount of competitors that aren't simply reliant on a nice lemon flavor and sugar to help you stay calm.
